Missionary action in Dedovsktranslated

As part of the missionary action, the cleric of the St. George Church in the city of Dedovsk, Priest Dionisy Klychkov, visited school No. 3 named after A.P. Beloborodova. The priest held a meeting with 9th grade students, which was timed to coincide with National Unity Day.

Father Dionysius showed high school students a multimedia presentation telling about the history of the holiday, the great spiritual feat of St. Hermogenes, Patriarch of Moscow, who with his firm word and primal call raised the people to defend the faith and the Fatherland, and about the valiant leaders of the people’s militia - the zemstvo elder Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky. The clergyman also revealed the spiritual meaning of these historical events and spoke about the intercession of the Mother of God Herself, which was so clearly manifested in the miraculous discovery of Her Kazan Icon.

The ninth-graders listened to the clergyman with great attention. The meeting turned out to be truly warm, informative and inspiring for all participants.
