The Greek Minister of Finance was received by Patriarch Daniel: Romania and Greece, united by very strong tiestranslated

The Greek Minister of Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, was received on Saturday by His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel at the Patriarchal Residence. "Romania and Greece are united by very strong ties that have lasted for centuries," the Greek official stressed.
Evangelia Grammatika, the ambassador of Greece in Bucharest, also participated in the official visit. The discussions covered the relations between the two countries, the current challenges and the role of social cohesion.
The Greek Finance Minister stated that the meeting also addressed ways in which social cohesion can be supported and how "we could do more for our societies and peoples".
"Thank you very much to His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel for the wonderful meeting we had," said Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
During the visit, the Patriarch of Romania offered the Greek officials several volumes published by the publishing houses of the Romanian Patriarchate and signed by His Beatitude.
Also, the Greek Minister of Finance received, from Patriarch Daniel, the Diploma and the Medal of the Honorary Year of Pastoring the Christian Family.
