Metropolitan Nathanael of Gjirokastër visits Orthodox Community in Livinë
Metropolitan Nathanael of Gjirokastër continues his pastoral visits to parishes throughout his Metropolis, traveling from village to village since assuming his new duties.
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Metropolitan visited the village of Livinë, in the Finiq area of Sarandë, where he presided over Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple.
Orthodox faithful from the village gathered for the Divine Liturgy and listened attentively to the Metropolitan’s pastoral message.
In his address, Metropolitan Nathanael emphasized that Christian life is founded upon faith, prayer, and regular participation in the Sacraments of the Church.
He encouraged the faithful to remain close to Christ and to seek in Him the happiness and fulfillment for which every person longs.
