Metropolitan Nathanael leads daily Supplication services to the Virgin Mary across Gjirokastër

Metropolitan Nathanael of Gjirokastër is presiding over two Supplication Services to the Virgin Mary each afternoon during this period, visiting cities and villages throughout his Metropolis.

Through this pastoral initiative, the Metropolitan seeks to encourage greater participation among the Orthodox faithful of the region while emphasizing the importance of the presence and intercession of the Theotokos, particularly amid the challenges of the present day.

In recent days, Metropolitan Nathanael has presided over the Supplication Services and addressed the faithful in the city of Sarandë, as well as in the villages of Sofratikë, Terihat, Upper Episkopi and Lower Episkopi.

During these services, the Metropolitan has sought to strengthen the spiritual life of local Orthodox communities and convey a message of faith, hope and devotion to the Virgin Mary during the Dormition fast.
