Metropolitan Methodios Celebrates Great Vespers for the Dormition and Installs Fr. Demetri Costarakis as Parish Priest in Dracut

Sunday, August 16, 2026 On Friday, August 14, Metropolitan Methodios visited the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Dracut, Massachusetts, where he presided at Great Vespers and formally installed the Rev. Fr. Demetri Costarakis as the new parish priest. The occasion marked an important new chapter in the life of the Dracut community, particularly following its merger with St. George Church in Lowell. --> Sunday, August 16, 2026 --> Metropolitan Methodios Welcomes KOSMOS Participants to the Metropolis of Boston Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Metropolitan Methodios welcomed participants of the KOSMOS Project from the Metropolis of Neapolis in Thessaloniki, Greece, to the Metropolis of Boston. The group was accompanied by the Rev. Fr. Dimitrios Moutsos. He greeted the young adults and gave them a tour of the Metropolis offices. Following the tour, Metropolitan Methodios hosted the group for dinner and spoke with the participants about their visit to Boston and their experiences as part of the KOSMOS program.
