Metropolita Daniel z Akry spotkał się z Panem Waelem Fathy, Ambasadorem Arabskiej Republiki Egiptu w Republice Ghany, w piątek, 17 lipca 2026 r., w Ambasadzie Egiptu w Akrze.

Podczas serdecznego spotkania przekazał Ambasadorowi pozdrowienia i najlepsze życzenia od Papieża i Patriarchy Teodora II Aleksandrii i całej Afryki. Wyraził także głęboką wdzięczność Patriarchatu Aleksandrii Jego Ekscelencji Prezydenta Arabskiej Republiki Egiptu Abdela Fattaha El-Sisiego za jego trwałe wsparcie i ochronę Tronu Apostolskiego w Aleksandrii i jego historycznej misji na kontynencie afrykańskim.

Szczególny nacisk położono na silne historyczne więzi przyjaźni i współpracy między Egiptem a Grecją, a także na ważną rolę, jaką oba kraje odgrywają w promowaniu dialogu międzyreligijnego, kultury i pokojowego współistnienia narodów.

Poinformował Ambasadora o wieloletniej obecności oraz posłudze misyjnej, duszpasterskiej, edukacyjnej i charytatywnej Świętej Archidiecezji Prawosławnej w Akrze Grecko-Prawosławnego Patriarchatu Aleksandrii w Ghanie.
