Patriarch Daniel's message at the launch of the last volume of the "History of the Romanian Academy Library"translated

Blessed Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, participated on Tuesday in the launch of the fifth and last volume of the work "History of the Library of the Romanian Academy", where he sent a message of congratulations and appreciation for this monumental and necessary cultural endeavor.

"An institution like the Library of the Romanian Academy, which treasures the memory of a people, writes today, in the pages of these volumes, its own memory: the memory of beginnings, accomplishments, trials and vulnerabilities, but also of a vocation that cannot be exhausted by any editorial conclusion, being a memory which, as indicated by Mr. Nicolae Noica himself, the project coordinator, cannot have an end point, but continues to be written," the Patriarch of Romania said.
