Our parish did a simple talk after the service about their story and what real faithfulness looks like in daily life, nothing fancy but it stuck with a few young couples. Did any of the Moscow churches hand out those little icons of the saints?

Our parish here in Toronto read the life of Peter and Fevronia at the end of Liturgy too. The part about them choosing monastic life together at the end always gets me — my late husband and I used to joke that was the ultimate retirement plan. Our parish here in Boston handed out small paper icons of Peter and Fevronia after the talk too, the ones printed at the diocesan press. Simple but they do the job. Did the young couples at your place mention anything particular that hit home from the story?
