“Honey Savior in Siberia” - exhibition-fair in Novosibirsk – News – Novosibirsk Metropolistranslated

From August 14 to 24, from 10:00–18:00, a traditional fair dedicated to the Honey Savior will be held on the territory of the Ascension Cathedral. On the first day, August 14, after the Divine Liturgy, the rite of consecration of honey will take place in the cathedral. Guests of the fair will find a large selection of beekeeping products: honey, beebread, propolis, pollen and other useful products. It will also be possible to purchase tea, herbal infusions and balms according to ancient folk recipes, as well as wild plants - nuts, mushrooms and berries. One of the main events will be a honey tasting competition, which will be conducted by a professional commission. This year it is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Russian beekeeper, our fellow countryman, Honored Animal Scientist of Russia, Professor V. G. Kashkovsky.
