Stavrofora Marina Andreica, abbess of the Teodoreni Monastery in Suceava county, recently offered a testimony about St. Elizabeth of Pasărea. He was 23 years old and seven years in the monastery when he received the obedience to embroider two schemes for the saint. She said that it healed her both physically and spiritually.

The mother abbess reported that while she was embroidering her garments, the saint knew in her spirit that she was sick. Through the saint's prayers, God healed her of the skin rashes caused by gluten intolerance, which had been bothering her for two years.

"I realized that I embroidered her patterns and she embroidered my soul. She healed me," said the abbess. "I think that when I was embroidering, she also saw my suffering and all the struggle."

Stavrofora also recounted the moment when she received as a gift from the saint a cloak and a vest worn by her. Then he felt that "her spirit was also there":

"I think she was quite the saint, because the moment I opened that package, there was such a smell in the cell that I actually fell to my knees. I cried for joy and thanked the saint for giving me something. Then I knew she was a saint."

He prayed for the whole world…
