Maramureș for Peace: 30 Ukrainian children participated in a camp dedicated to themtranslated

An international camp for 30 Ukrainian children affected by the war was organized in Mosil commune in Maramureș county.
The camp was organized between August 7-13 as part of the "Maramureș for Peace" project, initiated by Senator Cristian-Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlas, member of the Delegation of the Romanian Parliament to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), in partnership with the PACE Parliamentary Network on the situation of children in Ukraine.
For a week, children took part in sports, music, creative and knowledge activities, as well as moments for emotional support. The participants were accompanied during the camp by a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, social workers, teachers, translators and volunteers.
