"The savior Jesus Christ is the hope and joy of those who are always on this swirling sea", emphasized on Sunday the Most Reverend Father Timotei Prahoveanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.

"Each of us has such a greatness", explained the hierarch in the teaching word delivered at the Liturgy celebrated in the church of the Huedin Parish in Sector 4 of the Capital.

"One a grievous affliction, one a deep wound, which can only be healed by God. One has a separation that affects him especially—from family, wife, children, and so on. Others show us that separations from those who die are hard to bear."

"All these mean terrible waves, strong waves, against which we cannot fight alone, without the help of God. If we remain alone, we are like Peter. We sink into the waves of the sea and darkness and death feed us," His Eminence warned.

"If we will ask for God's help, as in simple words Peter asked: Lord, save me!, understanding that destruction was so near, we too could be saved."
