Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery hosted a new edition of the Summer University "St. Pr. Mc. Liviu Galaction from Cluj"translated

The Brâncoveanu Monastery from Sâmbăta de Sus, Brașov county, hosted, between July 5-10, 2026, a new edition of the Summer University "St. Pr. Mc. Liviu Galaction from Cluj", a national training project intended for teachers of Religion and other disciplines from the country and the diaspora.

The event was organized by the Scientific Society - Red Didactic Association and the "Gheorghe Lazăr" National Pedagogical College from Cluj-Napoca.

Conference held by acad. Ioan-Aurel Pop The official opening was preceded by Holy Liturgy and a Te Deum service, and on all other days the works were preceded by participation in Holy Liturgy.

Father Ioan Emilian Raza, priest of charity at the IV Cluj-Napoca Medical University Hospital, delivered an inaugural message, in which he highlighted the project's mission and objectives, emphasizing the importance of the continuous training of teachers in a society in constant change and the responsibility that teachers have in the training of new generations.
