The remains of Priest Nicolae Gherman, benefactor of the Monastery of "St. Anne" Rohia, and his wife, Maria, will be reinterred on Thursday in the monastic cemetery.

The transfer of remains will begin in the Central Cemetery of Dej, where a commemoration service will also be held. At 12:00, Bishop Justin will conduct the reinterment service in the cemetery of the Rohia Monastery, in the presence of the family members.

"By bringing the remains of Priest Nicolae Gherman to the cemetery of the Rohia Monastery, he returns forever to his hometown and his benefactress, the Rohia Monastery, where he will rest in peace alongside his daughter Anuța, the staretses, and the monks of the Rohia Monastery," states the communiqué issued by the monastic community.

The community of the Rohia Monastery invites the priests of the Lăpuș region and the faithful from the locality to participate in the reinterment service.
