The Moldovița Monastery in Suceava County hosted the filming of a sample from the new season of the MasterChef Romania show.
On Wednesday, the production team completed one of the challenges of the culinary competition within the monastic settlement, chosen as a representative place for the heritage and traditions of Bucovina.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Sucevan monastery, the 11th season of the show will include rehearsals held in several emblematic places in Romania, to highlight the landscapes, traditions and local gastronomy.
The spaces set up for the competition included both the monastery courtyard and other areas within the settlement. The contestants' preparations were evaluated by the judges Cătălin Scarlătescu, Sorin Bontea and Florin Dumitrescu, and monks and locals took part in the tasting.
During the program, there was an artistic moment supported by the popular music performer Angelica Flutur.
The filming took place with the blessing of His Holiness Father Calinic, Archbishop of Suceva and Rădăuți, and with the support of Stavrophore Ecaterina Vicleanu, abbess of the monastery. More than a hundred people participated in the making of the episode...
