"The Mother of God conceived from the Holy Spirit the Son and the Word of God" said on Saturday the Reverend Father Samuel Bistrițeanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj at the patron saint of the Dobric Monastery, Bistrița-Năsăud county.

The vicar bishop celebrated the Holy Liturgy on Saturday at the summer altar of the monastic settlement, also known as the "Pearl of Șibleșului".

Among the ministering clergy were Fr. Stelian Tofană, university professor at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Cluj-Napoca, Fr. Liviu Vidican-Manci, director of the "Metropolitan Nicolae Colan" Orthodox College, Fr. Dragoș Cristian, archpriest of Beclean, and Fr. Siluan Farcaș, priest of Dobric Monastery.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by representatives of the local and county authorities, pilgrims and students of the Technological High School "Ion Căian Românul" from Căianu Mic.
