Madonna sought spiritual guidance during visit to Varlaam Monastery

vMadonna is currently in Greece, where she is celebrating her 68th birthday today, Sunday, August 16. According to Protothema , the singer made a brief visit to Meteora and, specifically, the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, seeking a different and more spiritual experience.
On Friday, August 14, the “Queen of Pop” reportedly arrived at Meteora from Corfu, where she had previously been staying, accompanied by a group of approximately 12 people, including her son. The group arrived aboard two helicopters.
Madonna remained at Meteora for approximately three hours, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. During that time, she visited the Holy Monastery of Varlaam accompanied by two guides. Visit Meteora arranged her transfer from the landing site to the monastery, while Patricia Mania and Dominiki Kalafati accompanied her and conducted the tour.
Photographs from the visit show the renowned singer dressed in white. She was reportedly friendly throughout her stay, while choosing to remain discreet and maintain a low profile. The monks opened Varlaam Monastery especially for her visit, as it had already closed to the public for the day.
