Daniel WeberSchön zu lesen, dass die Feier so von Freude und Hoffnung geprägt war. Die beiden neuen Weihbischöfe für Washington – das klingt nach einem guten Zeichen für die Gemeinden dort. Hoffentlich bringen sie frischen Schwung in den Alltag der Pfarreien.

Chez nous à Lyon, quand Mgr Battut est passé l’an dernier, ce qui a marqué les gens c’est qu’il soit resté discuter avec les familles après la messe, pas seulement sur l’estrade. Mark ParkerYeah, that bishop visit last fall really did get the choir humming again—our director even dusted off a couple old anthems we hadn’t touched in years. I like what Konstantin said about rolling up sleeves; hope the new auxiliaries start with the smaller parishes out in the county instead of just the big downtown ones. What do you figure they should tackle first, Michael?

Petar MarkovićTačno, Đorđe, to je prava mera. Kod nas u Kragujevcu se isto priča o vladiki Jovanu – posle svake liturgije ostane, popije tu kafu i sasluša šta se dešava u domu i po selima. Ako novi pomoćni episkopi u Vašingtonu budu tako radili, biće od koristi, a ne samo za fotografije.

À Paris, quand notre évêque auxiliaire est venu l’an dernier pour la confirmation des enfants de l’école, il a pris le temps de goûter la galette des rois avec les familles au sous-sol de l’église ; ça a détendu tout le monde. Espérons que les nouveaux à Washington fassent la même chose dans les paroisses.
