Kenya: Hike in Longonot Mountain for Blind Children with Optic Impairmenttranslated

Approximately 700 participants responded to the call for a hike in Longonot Mountain, organized by the Kenya Society for the Blind, which promotes the well-being of people with visual impairments and advocates for eye health. The trek was a mission dedicated to sensitizing and supporting the education of children with optic impairment, helping them stay in school and pursue their dreams.

The Most Reverend Metropolitan Elder Bishop Nairobi Makarios, Archbishop of Kenya, expressed his moved by the great response as hundreds of people, united and encouraged by a common goal: supporting blind children, so that they can continue their education and have the opportunity to learn, develop, and fulfill their divine potential.
