Liviu Gabriel Mușat, the director of the South-Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR), received the Metropolitan Order "Holy Hierarch Neophyte Cretan" at the Palace of the Patriarchate on Tuesday.

The distinction was handed to him by His Holiness Father Timotei Prahoveanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, on behalf of His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel.

"It is a sign of gratitude for your work that you have done in over 20 years since you have been the director of the South-Muntenia Regional Development Agency, since 2003. This work has also affected some monasteries and churches in the Archdiocese of Bucharest and in other areas", emphasized His Eminence.

The hierarch expressed his wish for the dialogue and collaboration between the Regional Development Agency and the Church to continue.
