The Holy Liturgy and closing ceremony of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth (ITO) from the National Cathedral will be broadcast live by Trinitas TV and can be watched on Youtube and on the Facebook pages of Trinitas TV, Radio Trinitas and the Basilica News Agency.
His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel will participate in the service officiated by the hierarchs of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
During the closing ceremony, the torch will be handed over to the next city that will organize the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth.
Access to the faithful inside the National Cathedral will also be allowed to the faithful, within the limits of available seats. Also, the service and closing ceremony of ITO 2026 will be able to be watched on the esplanade of the place of worship, where screens are located.
This year's edition brings together for four days approximately 2,400 young people between the ages of 16 and 35, from Romania, the diaspora and other countries.
The International Meeting of Orthodox Youth was launched in 2014. Previous editions were hosted by Baia Mare, Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Iasi, Sibiu, Craiova and Timișoara.
