The summer gathering of Orthodox youth brought together about 200 participantstranslated

From July 23 to July 26, 2026, the annual summer gathering of Orthodox youth of the Gomel diocese was held at the courtyard of the St. Nicholas Monastery in Teryukha. The rally took place with the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, and brought together about 200 young people from different parishes and deaneries.

The four-day program was the result of joint work of the clergy, diocesan departments and organizers of educational and creative platforms. It combined prayer and spiritual conversations, intellectual and practical activities, team games, sports, music and creativity. Representatives of the Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross, the Gomel Border Group, youth associations and cultural institutions joined the individual meetings.

The spiritual center of the gathering was the Divine Liturgy in the open air, which was led by His Eminence Stephen on the night of July 23-24. The Bishop also held a conversation with the youth about church life, reminded them of the need to participate in divine services, spoke about his path to faith and blessed those gathered.
