I wonder what happened in Cleveland. And what exactly financial issues did they vote on this time? Was it really about parish contributions again? Sorry, full text is for subscribers only.

Too bad the full text is only for subscribers. I wonder if this time in Cleveland they also talked about how to help smaller parishes with funding, or if it was just about the mandatory contributions again. Roman, you are right, they could give such things freely.

It's a shame really, those paywalls always annoy me. In past years, the smaller parishes have mostly been talked about in terms of how to keep them open when contributions aren't enough, so I'd be surprised if they bypassed it entirely this time. Roman, were you there?

It's a shame really, those paywalls spoil the discussion. I have heard from previous years that the main talk about smaller parishes was how to help them with church repairs, not just contributions. Petra, have you read anything about this year's workshops?

It's really a pity, those paywalls also limit those of us who want to talk about it in church after the liturgy. I would be especially interested in whether they mentioned any specific grants for repairs, because here in Prešov we struggled with this last year. Petra, did you catch anything from those workshops at least from other sources?

It's a shame really, those paywalls limit us all. I couldn't find anything concrete about grants for repairs, but in our parish in Košice last year we received help from the archdiocese for the roof, so maybe they talked about it at the 48th assembly. Petra, did you catch something?

It's a shame really, those paywalls spoil the discussion. I agree, Zuzana, in the past there was really more talk about practical help to small parishes with roof or heating repairs, not just contributions. Petra, have you read anything about this year's workshops? I heard from a priest from America on my last bicycle trip that this year they tried a new format for financing youth camps.

Yes, those paywalls really spoil normal debate. Pavol, I talked to the same priest on that bicycle trip, and he mentioned that the new format of funding the camps worked well for them, because people from smaller parishes finally saw where the money was going. Petra, have you read anything about the workshops?
