The holy relics of the new-martyr Chrysie (Zlata in her Slavic appellation) have been found near the ruins of the ancient church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, within the castle of the village of Chrysi, in northern Greece. According to scientific documentation, the bones discovered belong to a young woman of about 17 years old who died in 1795, as established by specialized laboratories.
