His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the service of the Paraclisis, the canon of supplication to the Mother of God, at the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Neochori (Yeniköy), on the Bosphorus, on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 4, 2026. At the end of the service, His Eminence Metropolitan of Kydonies Athenagoras, Bishop of Bosphorus region, warmly welcomed His Holiness.
