On July 02, 2026, another event was completed in the Kobrin deanery within the framework of the Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Orthodox Church: the 2nd change of spiritual and moral orientation in the State Educational Institution “Recreation Camp “Volna-Luban” of the Kobrin District.” This year, 240 children from different parishes of the Kobrin deanery, including from family-type orphanages in Kobrin, became participants in the shift.
Along with the activities of the educational work plan of the educational institution, special attention was paid to introducing children to Christian values and establishing moral guidelines.
One of the aspects of educating the civil-patriotic and ideological-moral qualities of the participants in the change of spiritual and moral orientation was the daily conversations of the clergy of the Kobrin deanery on the topic “God’s Commandments.” In each of the six groups, the priests spoke about each of the 10 Commandments of God, answered questions, and discussed incomprehensible points.
