A new edition of the Saint Elijah Fair will be organized at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest, which will take place from Friday to Sunday.
The event will bring together craftsmen, artisans, antiquarians and artists from all over the country, offering the public the opportunity to discover the traditions and heritage of the Romanian village.
"The fair aims to promote the material and immaterial heritage of Romania, offering the public, especially those from the urban environment, the opportunity to discover, understand and appreciate the traditions, crafts and customs that define the cultural identity of the Romanian village", the representatives of the National Museum of the Romanian People sent in a post on Facebook.
As every year, the event will also have a charitable component. The organizers announced that they will continue to support "several schools, foundations, associations and organizations that carry out activities of a humanitarian nature, dedicated to children with disabilities and people from disadvantaged categories".
