A palliative care center will be built in Huși: PS Ignatie blessed the place where it will be locatedtranslated

On Thursday, the Most Reverend Father Ignatie blessed the place where the "Sfânta Maria" Palliative Care Center in Huși will be built.

The project is carried out by the "Orthodox Philanthropy" Association of the Diocese of Hușilor, during the period 29.10.2025 - 28.10.2028. Its total value is over 12 million lei, half of which is co-financed by the European Union.

A moment of joy Bishop Ignatius of the Husi underlined the need for such a settlement, which fulfills a deeply felt need at the level of the diocese.

"It is a moment of joy for the Husi Episcopate and for the Husi Orthodox Philanthropy Association because, by the grace of God, through his blessing, we performed the prayer for the sanctification of this place and everything that will be built here, for the benefit of those who urgently need our attention and love".

The hierarch highlighted the importance of palliative care for people suffering from incurable diseases.
