350 years after the consecration of the Vintilă Vodă Church in Popești-Leordeni, the monograph of the place of worship will be launchedtranslated

A monograph of the "Vintila Vodă" Church in the Ilfov city of Popești-Leordeni will be launched on Sunday, on the 350th anniversary of the consecration of the place of worship.

The moment will be marked by the Holy Liturgy, celebrated from 09:00 a.m. Dionisie Constantin, coordinating Patriarchal Counselor and director of the Workshops of the Biblical and Orthodox Mission Institute of the Romanian Patriarchate.

The father will participate in the anniversary as a delegate of His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel.

The launch of the monograph "History of the Popești-Leordeni locality and the Vintilă Vodă Church from its foundation to the present" will take place at the end of the service.

The volume was compiled by priest Ioan Bondar, parish priest of Vintilă Vodă Church and dean of Ilfov Sud.

Vintilă Voda Church A historical monument, the place of worship was consecrated on September 25, 1676, according to the inscriptions at the entrance to the church.
