Емил АтанасовInteresting, how exactly they managed to collect exactly 977 particles of different saints in one coffin. I wonder if they have a similar one in our temple, albeit smaller. Thanks for the article.
Петър ДимитровInteresting to say, Emile. I have seen in a small chapel near Veliko Tarnovo a coffin with about 40 particles - they were collected for years from different places. I don't know if our church in the neighborhood has one, I will ask Father Ivan after the Sunday service. And how did you hear about this Kuzbasky?
Irene ThomasMy daughter and I saw something similar last year when we visited the Russian church in Chiswick – a small reliquary with maybe twenty particles. It really makes you wonder how they keep track of them all without mixing anything up. Thanks for sharing the article.
Paul JohnsonWe had a small reliquary like that at our old parish in Ottawa, maybe a dozen particles. The priest always knew exactly whose was whose because he kept a typed list taped inside the lid. Makes you wonder how the Kuzbass one stays straight with 977.
Стефан МарковInteresting about this chapel near Veliko Tarnovo, Petre - 40 particles sounds serious. Our church in the neighborhood also has a small coffin, but with less, Father Ivan keeps it in the altar. And what do you think, is it worth getting together more or should it stay like this?
