Interestingly, the roots of Orthodoxy in the Kielce region go back to the mission of Saints Cyril and Methodius. I didn't know that there was a free-standing church of the Ascension Cathedral in Kielce - it's a pity that prayers stopped there. Does anyone know what happened to the last parish priest after the parish closed?
