Round table at the Petrovskaya Schooltranslated

On October 13, as part of the subject week on Spiritual and Moral Culture, a round table was held at the Uzunovskaya Secondary School in the village of Petrovo on the topic “Formation of key competencies of students in ORKSE lessons.” The teachers focused on current issues in teaching the course “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics.” The meeting participants discussed modern techniques that make it possible to make lessons not just informative, but also deeply meaningful for children, as well as ways to integrate spiritual values into the educational process. An important event was the participation in the dialogue of the rector of the Archangel Michael Church in the village of Petrov, Priest Maxim Shamkov, who shared his life experience with the teachers, emphasizing the inextricable connection between the acquisition of knowledge and the moral development of the individual. The meeting was held in the format of an open and confidential exchange of views. Teachers received valuable practical recommendations that will help make ORKSE lessons more lively, understandable and relatable to modern schoolchildren.
The event was an important step in strengthening cooperation between the school and the Church in educating the younger generation at the local level.
