Round table “Family Circle”translated

On October 14, at the Bogatyrsky Rural House of Culture, as part of the “Springs of Faith” project, a round table “Family Circle” was held, dedicated to Mother’s Day and the Week of Parental Love. The festive event was led by the rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Bogatyrskaya, Polotsk deanery, Priest Andrey Babushkin.

Students from grades 2-4 at the Bogatyrskaya Basic School took part in the round table meeting.

Priest Andrei Babushkin addressed the children with a welcoming speech. The priest reminded the schoolchildren that the Week of Parental Love takes place in Belarus every year from October 14 to 21. It begins on Mother's Day and ends on Father's Day, combining the two holidays into a single week dedicated to family. At this time, it is especially important to remember that true wealth is our loved ones who love and always accept us with all our advantages and disadvantages, ready to support and help at any moment of our lives.

The children's ensemble of the song “Freckles” of the Bogatyrsky Rural House of Culture performed the songs “Mom” and “My Family”.
