The religious procession in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God united the Orthodox of Kyshtymtranslated

A traditional religious procession took place in Kyshtym in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The clergy, city residents and pilgrims took part in the prayer procession. The holiday began with the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Nativity of Christ. Then the believers walked in procession through St. Nicholas, Holy Trinity and Holy Spiritual Churches. In each of them, parishioners met the participants, after which joint prayers were performed. The procession ended with a general prayer service and a return to the Church of the Nativity. According to tradition, the head of the Kyshtym urban district, Alexey Zaikin, and administration employees took part in the religious procession. On this day, participants asked the Most Holy Theotokos for peace, prosperity of the Fatherland, strengthening of faith, unity of the people and help to all who are going through trials.
