Concert of the patriotic song “Russia is my Motherland” in the Myronositsky Church in Istratranslated

On Sunday, October 11, after the Divine Liturgy, a concert of the patriotic song “Russia is my Motherland” was held at the parish of the Myronositsky Church in Istra. Its ideological inspirers and organizers were the spouses, opera singers Sergei and Elena Atyushev, singers of the Myronositsky Church. In the program, which united songs from different generations, there were no random songs: each is someone’s fate, memory, declaration of love. Representatives of the parish choir, as well as parishioners and Sunday school teachers sang about Russia, its fields and sunsets, front-line dugouts and lights in their homes, flying cranes and love that survives everything - time, distance, and war. All the performances resonated deeply in the hearts of the audience, who very warmly thanked the performers and sang their favorite and well-known songs with them. There were solo and joint numbers. And the performance of the dance group “Dance Together” from the Union of Large Families became a real highlight of the concert, giving truly sincere, bright emotions.
