On October 18, 2025, the III Interdiocesan tournament “Fathers’ Cup” took place in the “Clover” football arena in the city of Dmitrov. This year, the tournament, dedicated to Large Family Day and Father’s Day, brought together 12 teams from the deaneries of the Sergiev Posad diocese, as well as guests from the Odintsovo and Podolsk dioceses.

This year, only fathers with many children took to the field, including representatives of the clergy of the Moscow Metropolis. The fathers arrived with their families, who warmly supported the players, creating the atmosphere of a real family holiday.

The tournament began with a prayer service to Saints Reverend Cyril and Mary, parents of Saint Sergius of Radonezh.

All participating teams were awarded words of gratitude and gifts.

The “Fathers' Cup” became a vibrant family holiday that united the families of the Moscow Metropolis in the joy of communication, sportsmanship and the faith of Christ.
