The cleric of the Zheleznogorsk Cathedral told the cadets of the School of Cosmonautics about the value of life and the danger of hatredtranslated

On October 19, at the School of Cosmonautics in the city of Zheleznogorsk, a meeting was held between 8th and 9th grade cadets with the staff cleric of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, Priest Alexy Meshcheryakov.
The conversation was devoted to serious topics: self-harm, the value of human life and hatred. The event was held as part of the prevention of illegal actions, in which teenagers aged 14–17 years often become participants.
The priest talked with the children about spiritual and moral foundations that help them resist destructive temptations. Father Alexy noted that behind every terrible act there is an inner emptiness, resentment or false guidelines, and invited teenagers to think that life is a gift from God that cannot be devalued. Separately, the topic of hatred was touched upon: how it arises and why it is so important to learn to understand others and not allow anger to control oneself.
During the live dialogue, the children asked the priest questions and together with him analyzed real situations that teenagers face at school and in communication with their peers.
