The cleric attended a gala event dedicated to the foundation day of the institutiontranslated

In the assembly hall of the FKU SIZO-2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Omsk Region, a ceremonial meeting was held dedicated to the 242nd anniversary of the founding of the institution, which dates back to 1784.
At the event, priest Vladimir Novikov addressed the personnel. He read out a congratulatory address on behalf of Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk, which in part reads:
“...I cordially congratulate you on this significant date - the 242nd anniversary of the founding of the institution entrusted to you. This is one of the oldest divisions of the penal system; its chronicle is inextricably linked with the history of the city of Tara and the entire Omsk land. Your service requires professionalism, mental strength, patience and philanthropy.
I wish you God’s help, health, peace and success in your activities for the good of the Fatherland...”
Father Vladimir handed over to the acting head of the institution, Captain A.S. Zuykov a congratulatory address and an icon of Christ the Savior as a sign of the archpastoral blessing.
