It’s good that Father Alexy went from our deanery. I wonder what exactly was discussed at the council following the results of the six months - maybe about working with families or prevention?

Хорошо, что отец Алексий представлял нас. Интересно, обсуждали ли на совете работу с молодёжью или что-то про семьи, как Степан написал. У нас в Георгиевском храме как раз много приходских семей ходит.

Yes, Stepan, it’s good that Father Alexy represented us. As far as I heard from friends, they talked a lot about working with families and teenagers, especially about prevention in schools. What do you think, should our parishes be more actively involved there?

I agree, Stepan, it’s good that Father Alexy went. As far as I understand, most of the time was spent on prevention among teenagers - they talked about joint raids with the police on dysfunctional families. Would you, as a parish person, get involved in this?

Yes, Gregory, it’s important about raids on dysfunctional families. In Ivanteevka, after such joint trips, several children then began to come to church for classes. As a parishioner, I could help with tea and sandwiches after the meeting or with handmade cards for teenagers, so that not only the police would talk, but there would also be warmth. Would you go on such a raid yourself or do you only help at the parish?

Yes, Katya, we talked about schools and teenagers first of all. I think our parishes should definitely get involved more actively - in Georgievsky, for the second year now, children from Sunday school have been going to local school No. 3 for conversations about family, and the parents themselves thank them afterwards. Did you hear exactly what measures were proposed at the council?
