A diocesan cleric took part in the presentation of a book about the wartranslated

July 8 at the exhibition “War. Victory. Memory" at the Lida History and Art Museum there was a presentation of the book by Anastasia Kolodyazhnaya "Crystals of Victory. Memories of children of war."
The event was attended by the cleric of St. George's Church, Archpriest Rostislav Solovyov. Some of the authors of the memoirs also came to the meeting. Children of the war recalled their childhood “scorched by war” and reflected on how important peace on earth is.
These memories are not just a story, they are a confession of war children about what they saw and experienced. The dramatic periods of the war were so memorable for the rest of their lives that even after many years, at night they dream of war bread, punitive shots, bomb explosions, fires, tears, loading into an on-board vehicle when being transported to Germany.
In his speech, Father Rostislav congratulated everyone present on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, noting that during the war, not a single Belarusian family escaped this terrible tragedy. The priest wished everyone to try to keep peace in their families and raise their children on moral and patriotic principles. And he congratulated the author of the book on the publication of the publication and wished him creative success.
