For the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a splendid renovation took place in the Church of the Resurrection of Christtranslated

The church is the earthly sky, the place of living meeting of the human soul with God. Striving for the splendor of the house of God, the rector and parishioners of the Ashmyany Church of the Resurrection of Christ carried out renovation of the interior decoration for the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, paying special attention to the veneration of the Queen of Heaven.

The main event was the careful renovation of ancient images - the spiritual treasure of the church. The icon cases for the venerated icons of the Most Holy Theotokos “Ostrabramskaya” and “It Is Worthy” (“Merciful”) underwent professional restoration and were glazed. Now these holy faces, framed in elegant white icon cases with gold carved elements, appear before worshipers in a renewed form, reliably protected from time and external influences. On the eve of the holiday, an ancient icon case with an image of the Virgin Mary holding the Divine Infant in her arms was also handed over for restoration.

The church was replenished with new wooden lecterns on carved legs. They will become a worthy place to place new painted icons created specifically for the Oshmyany parish.
