By August 2027, a permanent iconostasis will be installed in the capital’s church, the construction of which was blessed by Elder Eli (Nozdrin)translated

A permanent iconostasis in the church in honor of the Burning Bush icon of the Mother of God in the capital’s Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district will appear by August 2027, said Russian State Duma deputy, Patriarchal Advisor Vladimir Resin.
Vladimir Resin explained that the church has already been put into operation, but this does not mean the end of the city’s care for the shrine, because The program for the construction of Orthodox churches in Moscow (“Program 200”) accompanies each project until its complete turnkey completion, reports the parliamentarian’s press service.
– We put the stone church into operation at the end of last year, but the city construction program accompanies such objects until all interior details are fully completed. Now the stage of internal decoration has begun,” explained the Patriarchal Advisor.
Vladimir Resin added that the work on the creation and installation of a permanent iconostasis for the master’s church is planned to be completed by August 2027.
The stone cathedral for 800 parishioners on Michurinsky Prospekt was erected according to the design of UNESCO Prize winner architect Alexander Zusik. In his project, he combined traditional motifs of Pskov architecture of the 14th-15th centuries with modern architectural forms.
The church is located on the banks of the Bolshoi…
