Jordan: Emotional Funeral Service for the victims of attack on Greek Orthodox Church (PHOTOS)

Patriarch Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem, accompanied by Metropolitan Isychios, and a number of priests and local personalities. visited yestarday, October 25, the injured victims of the terrorist attack.

In an effort to aid and provide moral and emotional support to relief the people whom suffering is unimaginable, Patriarch Theophilos and the accompanying delegation head to Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein Military Hospital and the Italian Hospital, where the injured are currently being treated, to check on their well-being following the horrendous terrorist attack which occurred on Friday and led to the martyrdom of nine innocent lives of our Orthodox flock in Karak.

Patriarch Theophilos offered prayers for them, beseeching the Lord to grant them a full recovery, health, and well-being.

The funeral which took place earlier yesterday at noon at the same church, was led by  Patriarch Theophilos III, members of the Brotherhood, local priests, Patriarch of the Latin Patriarchate and Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, and an enormous number of people of all denominations and religions, and was broadcasted worldwide.
