The Orthodox calendar “The Shrines of the Land of Simbirsk” has been publishedtranslated

The Simbirsk diocese published an Orthodox calendar for 2027, “The Shrines of the Land of Simbirsk.”

The calendar presents the biographies of the patrons of our region: Saint Blessed Andrew of Simbirsk, Martyr Catherine of Simbirsk, Venerable Confessor Gabriel of Melekess. The pages of the publication contain information about the main feast of the metropolis - the Council of Simbirsk Saints. You will find out who is included in this Cathedral and how the date of celebration was set.

This calendar is a small guide to the holy places of the Simbirsk Metropolis. You will get acquainted with the history of the main shrines of Simbirsk and the region - the “Burning Bush” icon of the Mother of God, the Zhadovskaya Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the “Bogolyubskaya” (“God-loving”) icon, the image of the Savior Not Made by Hands.
