From Alatyr to Ulyanovsk: Luka students visiting the Solar Circletranslated

On September 19, the inclusive center "Solar Circle" received guests from Alatyr - parents and children from the "Luka" center at the church in honor of the Beheading of the Head of John the Baptist of the Alatyr diocese. Previously, the students of the “Solar Circle” visited Alatyr, and now the Ulyanovsk residents hosted guests.

Acquaintance with the city began with a tour of the historical center of Ulyanovsk and the Volga embankment. Then the guests visited the Spassky Convent. In the gate church, the children were allowed to climb the bell tower and ring the bells. They also visited the new church history museum of the Simbirsk diocese, where they learned about the history of the monastery. After the tour, they were invited to the monastery refectory.

The culmination of the day was a concert in the inclusive center. The children exchanged creative performances: the students of the “Sunny Circle” and guests from Alatyr sang, danced and played. The young artist Pavel Timagin, inspired by a trip to Alatyr, gave them a painted picture of the bell tower of the Holy Trinity Monastery.
