Historical event for Pavlovka: the Resurrection Church was revivedtranslated

August 12, 2026 · 1 min read

Built in the 19th century, the church in honor of the Resurrection of Christ in the urban village of Pavlovka has a long history, including tragic pages. The shrine, desecrated during Soviet times, became a regional house of culture, where an auditorium and a dance floor were built on the holy site. In 2016, the revival of the shrine began, which lasted a decade. A great and festive event for the village was the rite of great consecration, which was performed by the Bishops of the Simbirsk Metropolis.
