IPS Laurentiu consecrated the new church of the Turnu Roșu Monastery: It received the second patron dedicated to St. Andrei Șagunatranslated

On Sunday, Metropolitan Laurentiu of Transylvania consecrated the new church of the "Adormeria Maiii Domnului" Monastery in Turnu Roșu, Sibiu county. On this occasion, the place of worship received its second patron, dedicated to the Holy Hierarch Andrei Șaguna, Metropolitan of Transylvania.
After the consecration service, His Eminence officiated the Holy Liturgy, during which the message of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel from Romanian Migrants Sunday was read.
At the same time, His Holiness Father Laurentiu explained the significance of consecrating a place of worship and showed that the new church becomes a space of communion.
"What God has given us, we have given back, for we are the hand of God through which this work has been done."
"Only God knows how much effort, how much love, how much consideration, how much waiting, for years, have gathered to reach this blessed moment", said His Eminence.
Gratitude for the founders At the end of the Holy Liturgy, Archimandrite Petroniu Tănase, abbot of Turnu Roșu Monastery, thanked the Metropolitan of Transylvania for his service, as well as all those who supported the building of the church.
