I still remember how Metropolitan Herman visited our parish in Wichita back in 2008 and spent time talking with the choir after liturgy. He had such a gentle way about him. May his memory be eternal.

I remember reading about his visit to Wichita that year. Our choir director back in Ottawa had just come from there and kept saying how Metropolitan Herman sat with everyone for almost an hour, asking real questions about their families and the music they sang. Memory eternal.
