The Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Paisie Sinait celebrated the Holy Liturgy on Monday, July 20, at the Cernica Monastery, on the occasion of the second patron of the "Saint Nicholas" Church, dedicated to the Holy Prophet Ilie Tesviteanul.

Thank God for this beautiful day in Cernica! I really liked that Bishop Paisie served even at the second church, that of Saint Ilia. Last year I was also there on July 20, and after the Liturgy I sat in the shade of the trees with a slice of watermelon from the nuns.

Yes, și la noi Ilie Tesviteanul e ocrotitor la parohia din Lazarevo, we celebrate it every year on July 20. It's nice that Bishop Paisie served in another church, and I also remember the shade under the trees after the liturgy. Pepen of the sisters is always the cutest.
