The icon of St. Pimen of Ugreshsky with a particle of relics was brought to the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Samara Regiontranslated

On the days of memory of the Venerable Pimen of Ugreshsky, the heavenly patron of employees of the Russian penal system, it was organized to bring an icon of the saint with a particle of his relics to the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Samara region. On September 8 and 9, the head of the prison deanery of the Samara Metropolitanate, Priest Andrei Ivanov, visited a number of institutions of the penal system in the region. Prayers before the icon of St. Pimen of Ugresh were performed for the personnel of pre-trial detention center No. 1, correctional colony No. 5, women's correctional colony No. 15, correctional center No. 1, as well as the Regional Somatic Hospital of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Samara region. Employees of the institutions had the opportunity to pray together, venerate the shrine and venerate the icon with a particle of the saint’s relics. The bringing of the shrine to the institutions of the penal system of the Samara region continued in the following days.
